Check out some photos from HerCampus' College Fashion Week Event in New York City. Overall, the event and the sponsors were great. All of the clothing for the show was from Forever 21 which was awesome and affordable and the boots that the models wore were all by Sorel!

I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Essie Fall 2015 Color Collection Preview Event, which was hosted by Seventeen Magazine beauty editors at Hearst Tower. The new rock 'n' roll inspired Essie polishes for Fall are so fabulous. My favorite shade is by far "Bell-Bottom Blues" which is a beautiful metallic blue shade. Check out some photos below from this awesome event!

"Unfortunately, for all the new fall makeup looks you've been looking forward to trying out, it's usually still really hot when you head back to school and most classrooms don't have AC. So there's no point in wearing a ton of makeup that will just melt off before first period's even over. Luckily, you probably still have a pretty summer glow, making it easy to look fresh and flawless without wearing a ton of makeup." Click here for my full makeup tutorial on Seventeen.com

Here is one of my favorite ways I've been styling my hair lately. I first curl my hair with a 1.5" wand and then I do a thick dutch braid and secure it with bobby pins to get my hair out of the front of my face. Try it out and tell me what you think!

Valentine's Day is a day filled with love and happiness. Not only does it have to be love to your significant other, but it is a day of loving yourself (especially if you are celebrating singles awareness day in your mind). Single or taken, it's always great to take some time out of your hectic schedule and show a little extra love to yourself. Spoil yourself! Buy those earrings you have been eyeing in the store window or pick up that extra red lipstick for yourself when you're shopping. Here, I have some of my current beauty favorites that can be great for a Valentine's Day date or just to spoil yourself and make you feel good.
My current perfume obsession has been this Chanel fragrance called "Chance". I love it, I love it, I love it. I was getting tired of my old favorite Dolce and Gabanna's "Light Blue" so I decided to switch things up. This Chanel fragrance is fresh and sweet all in one! My next favorite has got to be my newest favorite lip combination, Nars Cruella paired with the Korres Lip Butter in Pomegranate! Fun Fact: This Nars lip product is included in the Beauty Insider birthday gift from Sephora this year, so when your birthday comes around definitely stop into Sephora and pick yours up at the register! In the swatch below you can see how red and pigmented the Nars lip color and the Korres product just looks shiny and beautiful over top it!
The other products pictures are a Matte Maroon nail polish from the brand, Barry M! Unfortunately, this product is only sold in the UK and I was able to get my hands on a few when I recently took a trip to London. Another product I picked up while in London was black the Soap & Glory Mascara, which I also love! Lastly, I have the Urban Decay Naked Flushed blush, highlighter and bronzer all in one. This product is compact and great for traveling. The bronzer it includes also happens to be one of my absolute favorites. It's a great product to try out because you get to try three different products all in one! So, if you happen to be near a Sephora or your favorite beauty store in the next few weeks, treat yourself to a few new products! you deserve it!
I'd LOVE to hear from YOU! Let me know in the comments below or in a tweet to @MissGlambition1 what you are loving this month! If you are a blogger or just interested in doing an upcoming collaboration be sure to send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org

A few weeks ago I got an adorable package in the mail from the company LoveInPink. Personally I love what the company stands for which is empowerment among women. The company so kindly sent me the Sterling Silver LOVE Ring with Pink Sapphires (pictured left). Being the girly girl that I am, I obviously automatically loved the pink stones embedded in the ring. On their website, they stated that "a pink sapphire is the signature element found in each of our pieces. This cherished gemstone is said to restore one's internal balance. Its symbolism of wisdom, strength and love unites our collections and encourages every woman to express her feelings and inspire her peers".
For me, the ring was dainty and had just enough "bling" for me to go along with my everyday outfits and accessories which usually include a silver watch and a silver monogram necklace. If you are looking for a perfect Valentines Day Gift for that special someone, look no further. Whether it be for your significant other, your best friend or you mother, they will be bound to fall in love with this fine jewelry line with inspirational messages. Don't just give them any old ring for this special day, give them something they deserve and will love more than anything.
